also added some design elements! and updated my profile pic so that it is actually in the resolution that is displayed. been fun figuring out the fucking coding stuff that made me scratch my tiny little head. and this time i did most if not all of the coding actually by hand, which i don't think is morally superior to copying and pasting snippets but it does feel really rewarding !
ummmm uhhh i finished kingdom come deliverance and i hated the main story! it was shit! im fine with the unresolved narrative and all but just the whole masculinity of the whole thing and not just in a "it's 1403 AD" kind of way. the whole vibe. the camera angles, the narrative choices. the lack of any meaningful female characters.
but i did enjoy the sneaking and stealing mechanics. and i live for grinding monotonous missions so all the bandit camp quests were fun for me.
happy to be back to playing yakuza it rules. love the story beats of like: issue arises -> kiryu employs his fists -> issue resolved. it is stupid and campy and unpretentious. and yet there are actual female characters with NAMES and MOTIVATIONS and narrative AGENCY. such a good series.
i wan to play bass guitar more.
